October 31, 2025

🚀 What’s New?

Split Purchase Orders by Freight Method

What it is: You can now split purchase orders directly from the freight calculation results by freight method, such as Air or Ocean Freight.

Why it’s useful: This seamless connection saves you from manually transferring data between freight analysis and purchase order splitting, reducing errors and streamlining your workflow. It also pre-populates quantities and delivery dates based on freight optimization recommendations, giving you more control and clarity.

How to use it: On the Freight Calculator results page, click the new "Split PO by this Freight Plan" button. This opens the split PO modal with delivery dates and quantities pre-filled for Air and Ocean shipments, making review and confirmation faster.

Locale-Based Date Formatting for Shipment Split Tables

What it is: Shipment date headers in the Split Shipment modal now show actual delivery dates formatted according to your company’s locale settings instead of generic labels like "Shipment 1" or "Shipment 2".

Why it’s useful: Seeing precise, localized dates helps you better understand delivery timings at a glance, improving planning accuracy and reducing confusion.

How to use it: The updated date headers appear automatically in the Split Shipment modal when managing shipment splits.

Mandatory Access Scopes for Purchase Option Features

What it is: To keep complying with Shopify’s requirements, we have added mandatory access scopes related to payment mandates and customer payment methods.

Why it’s useful: These additional permissions ensure your pre-order functionality operates smoothly and remains fully compliant, preventing interruptions or feature restrictions.

How to use it: This update is automatic on your app side and requires no action. It ensures compliance moving forward.
