September 2026 Product Update
September's updates help you keep the details behind each purchase decision in one place, get the right information to suppliers, and trust the reports you use to plan your next reorder.
🚀 What’s New?
Product custom fields and exports
What it is: Add custom fields to products for the details your team needs beyond the standard product information. Product custom fields can also be included in product export templates and purchase order CSV and PDF export templates.
Why it’s useful: Keep the product details that matter to your purchasing workflow with the products themselves, then carry those details into spreadsheets and supplier documents instead of copying them by hand.
How to use it: Define product custom fields in Settings or from Product Configuration, then select the fields you need when setting up an export template.
See which purchase orders were shared with suppliers
What it is: The purchase order list now shows whether a PO has been shared by email, with a filter to find shared or unshared POs.
Why it’s useful: Before following up on an order, you can see which POs have already gone out to suppliers and which still need to be sent.
How to use it: Open the purchase order list and use the Shared column or filter.
Send purchase order files with your supplier email
What it is: Files attached to a purchase order through its custom fields can be selected when sharing that PO with a supplier.
Why it’s useful: Send order-specific files, such as a barcode document, alongside the PO instead of following up with a separate email.
How to use it: Add the file to the PO's Additional Info fields, then select it when you share the PO with your supplier.
🧩 Improvements
• Search bundles by SKU on the Bundles page, making it easier to find the set you need to review.
• Products intentionally excluded from replenishment no longer clutter the Product Setup Required widget.
• Shopify product syncing during onboarding is more reliable for large catalogs, helping stores finish their initial setup.
• Replenish remembers when you dismiss its explanation banners, so they stay out of your way on later visits.
🐞 Bug Fixes & Misc
• The Suggested Restock per Supplier report now shows supplier-specific totals rather than repeating the same values for every supplier.
• Fixed a custom report error affecting combinations of product titles, sales revenue, and sold quantities.
• Purchase order pages now load when an order has no estimated arrival date, and PO custom-field attachments are preserved when the order is updated.
• Purchase order PDFs keep billing-address line breaks and readable columns in the variant-grouped order summary.
